"Hi I am from Liverpool England and myself an my husband
had a gender reveal party at the weekend.
I have included some pictures as I thought they may be good for
your site to show that the phenomena is spreading to the uk!
What a wonderful way to reveal your babies sex in front of
all your friends and family!
Such a special memory shared!"

I would like to thank you for helping make my baby gender reveal party a big big success, I purchased your ebook and we used the decorating ideas, food ideas and most of all the games – did we laugh and laugh – we even got the men dressed in Pink!

If its ok I would like to send you my photos to display on this site.
Oh and BTW we tried to make Bruce – for a 1st attempt he turned out not too bad but not as good as your one :)
    Thanks to all

We just had our gender reveal party yesterday, but since the family is so spread out we decided to use a gender reveal countdown website. It lets the nurse / or a parent select the gender and pick a reveal date. The countdown happens live and people can tweet about the event or sign the guestbook. There is even a poll for people to guess. It turned out to be quite a lot of fun as we had some family on skype during the last few minutes of the countdown.

Hi there – that’s sounds like a fab idea and I bet it will be one that will take off for sure :-) as so many families live along way away from each other these days. Thanks so much for sharing your idea.

    • Traci says:

David, do you still have the link or name of the countdown timer you used that will allow voting? I love that idea!

  • Debbie says:

Hello – thank you for your effort with this site and the ebook is a great help towards our preparation for our special day. We are going to use Dave’s idea and have our absent families skype in (thanks Dave) maybe you should add that to your ebook.

Thanks for every other informative website. Where else may just I am getting that type of information written in such a perfect method? I’ve a mission that I’m simply now working on, and I’ve been on the glance out for such information.

For us, our gender reveal will be on Easter. This was the holiday that hubby proposed to me on… so how adorable is the timing! I plan to have a cake with pink or blue inside. Hubby, I, MIL and my mom will all know the gender, so i’ll have a little help to get the details together. It will be at night, so an easter egg hunt is out of the question, but I’m thinking about having a everyone wear something that represents what they think the baby is. For traditions sake I’m going to have egg-dying. We also may have a raffle of some sort… a dollar to place your vote, and if your gender was correct, we’ll draw names from that gender to see who gets the pool.

      Hi Tabitha
Thanks for sharing, your party sounds great.
I really like the combination of using the eggs at Easter :-)
Yes its very adorable that its the same time as your hubby proposed..(its my bday that weekend so I think its the best ;-))
I always like the idea of people dressing up in the color they think the baby is as it creates fun. The raffle is a great addition as people always love to win something.
Please let us know how it went as we are always keen on stories.

      Thanks again
      Nicola
